# Event clock preparation worksheet

An original, portable worksheet for a reader to document one exact event's clock profile. It contains no claimed event rules, inherited defaults, timer or ruling engine. Its prompts distinguish clock identity, start procedure, extensions, expiry and verification.

Rebuild with Python 3, standard library only:

Open `worksheet.html` in a browser. There are no remote assets, dependencies, analytics, network calls, storage writes or data submissions. The source of the worksheet labels and structure is `worksheet.json`; rules are deliberately absent. JavaScript adds optional step navigation, Reset and printing of current entries. All four steps and editable controls remain present without JavaScript. Browser printing without JavaScript uses native form controls, whose rendering varies by browser; use short entries or print a blank worksheet for handwriting.

With JavaScript enabled, print uses wrapping text copies of entered values and forces all steps to appear. Blank/default entries remain Unknown. The default/short-entry print layout targets two A4 pages. Long answers can add pages. Reload/Reset clears entries. Browser save/restore behavior with JavaScript disabled is controlled by the browser.

Created 2026-09-29. Parent article owns product evidence, primary event-rule sourcing and publication. This worksheet does not silently carry rules from one event to another.

## Verification and revisions

The checked build passed headless Chrome behavior checks (`qa.cjs`) for initial all-step visibility, Previous/Next, entered answers in print, all steps printed from walkthrough mode, reset/reload clearing, associated labels, no script errors, no horizontal overflow at 1280/375/320 pixels and controls at least 44 pixels high. JavaScript-disabled inspection confirmed all four steps and editable controls. Desktop/mobile screenshots and both pages of the entered-answer A4 PDF were visually inspected. This is a focused layout/interaction check, not a full accessibility audit.

Visual revision: increased printed answer areas to make the two-page record useful for handwriting. Semantic/accessibility revision: the initial navigation action says Start walkthrough, Previous is disabled until meaningful, headings receive focus on step changes, and no event-specific rule is prefilled. Browser-native form printing without JavaScript and very long entered answers remain the limitations described above.

QA files are working evidence and need not be published. Publish `worksheet.html`, `worksheet.json`, `build.py` and this README together if a reproducibility bundle is desired. The browser artifact works independently.
