Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Felted: Texas Hold'em Poker ("Felted" or "the App"), provided by GTO Solutions AS ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using Felted, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

You must be able to enter into a binding agreement where you live. Felted is intended only for people aged 18 or older. If you use Felted on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Felted is a play-money Texas Hold'em game. Campaign, Training, and other supported solo modes run against on-device computer opponents. "Play with Friends" provides private online tables for invited players. Felted also includes progression, hand history, statistics, achievements, and optional virtual-chip purchases.

Felted does not offer real-money poker, wagering, prizes of monetary value, cash-out, or player-to-player chip transfers. Success in Felted does not guarantee success in real-money poker.

3. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms when Felted, platform requirements, or applicable law changes. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the App or another appropriate channel when required. If you do not accept an updated version, stop using Felted.

4. Use of the App

4.1 License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

4.2 Accounts and guest play

You can use supported offline features as a guest. Sign-in may be required for cloud backup or recovery, and online features use a Firebase identity, which can be anonymous. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any sign-in account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4.3 Availability and changes

Features may vary by device, platform, region, app version, or service availability. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary, including for security, legal, maintenance, or product reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted online service.

5. Play-Money Chips and Purchases

5.1 Virtual chips

Felted chips are a limited, revocable license to use a virtual item inside the App. They have no cash value, are not property or legal tender, cannot be transferred between players, and cannot be sold, redeemed, exchanged, or cashed out. Chips do not expire merely because time passes.

5.2 Free path to play

Felted always provides a free way to continue playing through features such as the daily bonus, safety-net reload, low-stakes play, and earned rewards. A purchase is never required to continue using the core game.

5.3 Optional in-app purchases

You may optionally purchase consumable chip packs, a one-time starter bundle, or a Chip Vault break where offered. Apple or Google processes payment under its store terms. Prices, taxes, currency, and availability are shown before purchase and may vary by platform or region. Consumable chips are credited only after a valid store transaction is confirmed.

5.4 Refunds, reversals, and duplicate grants

Refund requests are handled by the platform that processed the purchase and are subject to applicable law and that platform's rules. If a transaction is refunded, reversed, duplicated, fraudulent, or otherwise invalid, we may reverse the related virtual-chip grant or correct the balance. We will not reduce a balance below zero solely because of that correction.

5.5 Regional restrictions

Purchasable chips are not offered where we determine they are unavailable or restricted, including Washington State. Regional eligibility may be determined from network location and other reliable account or platform information. Do not use a VPN, proxy, false address, or other method to evade a regional restriction.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality within the App, including but not limited to software, game engine, AI algorithms, text, graphics, logos, and images, are the exclusive property of GTO Solutions AS and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Fair Play and User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Use private tables for real-money gambling, settlement of wagers, or transfer of anything of value.
• Collude, share hidden cards during a hand, use multiple accounts in one game, or otherwise manipulate online play.
• Use automation, scripts, bots, unauthorized assistance, or exploits to interact with online services or obtain chips.
• Harass other players or use an offensive display name.
• Circumvent security, rate limits, regional restrictions, purchase validation, or access controls.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, scrape, copy, or redistribute the App except to the limited extent the law does not allow that restriction.
• Interfere with Felted's operation, probe its infrastructure without authorization, or submit malicious or misleading content.

If you discover a vulnerability or gameplay exploit, report it privately to us and do not use it for advantage.

8. Disclaimers

8.1 No Professional Advice

The App is intended for entertainment and practice. It does not provide financial, gambling, or professional advice and does not guarantee results in any other game.

8.2 No Real-Money Gambling

The App does not facilitate real-money gambling. All chips are virtual and have no monetary value. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you use Felted.

8.3 "As Is" Basis

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted service or that every calculation, computer-opponent decision, or statistic will be error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GTO Solutions AS and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss arising from Felted. Our total liability relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Felted during the previous 12 months or NOK 1,000.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot be limited for fraud, willful misconduct, death, personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights.

10. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses or third-party claims caused by your unlawful use of Felted or a material breach of these Terms. This section does not reduce rights available to you under mandatory consumer law.

11. Termination

You may stop using Felted at any time and may delete an eligible account from Settings. We may restrict or suspend online access when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security incidents, illegal conduct, material breach, or harm to other players or our systems. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Termination ends your license to use affected services. Rights and obligations that by their nature should continue—including intellectual property, payment corrections, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Bergen, Norway have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law allows or requires you to bring a claim elsewhere. If you are a consumer, you retain all non-waivable rights under the law of your country of residence.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the agreement between you and us regarding Felted. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and other service providers may also apply their own terms to services they provide.
